Jon Peter Sachtjen, 41, of Raleigh, NC passed away peacefully on June 10, 2015, with his wife, parents and friends by his side.

He was born February 22, 1974 in Detroit, MI, raised in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and graduated from Ohio University in 1996.

Jon was an editor, graphic designer, writer, artist, actor and musician. He was constantly discovering new ways to explore his creativity.

Everyone who knew Jon knows he was a loving, sincere and straight-forward husband, father and friend. He relished the sincere and honest path in life. His optimism and unique sense of humor were able to sustain him and those around him through the most challenging of times. Jon will be missed.

He is survived by his parents, Peter and Joan of Greenville, NC, his wife Cynthia Elaine and their four-year-old daughter Nora Frances.
